Alex & Robert’s Modern Romantic Wedding at Hotel Haya
Alex and Robert had their wedding at the modern-industrial Hotel Haya in St. Petersburg, Florida, which boasts a chic, blank-slate ballroom that can be transformed into any modern couple’s dream wedding space. Not even the Florida spring showers could dampen the joy felt by all who were in attendance that day. Alex and Robert are truly some of the kindest people that we have ever worked with, and their endless love and joy for one another is inspiring.
Every detail was just simply gorgeous for Alex and Robert’s wedding! From the grand ceremony at Sacred Heart Church in Tampa, to the ultra modern and chic cocktail hour at Hotel Haya, to the modern romantic reception in the Valencia Ballroom, everything was absolute perfection. Save the Date Florida created stunning tablescapes with lush floral arrangements and dreamy gold candelabras and votives. Pops of blush and pink mixed with the gold details made for an ultra romantic atmosphere. Paired with the high ceilings and grand windows of the ballroom, the vibe was nothing short of stunning. Every detail came together beautifully for the beautiful couple!
These two were busy bees throughout the year leading up to the big day! Not only did they finally make the move to get an apartment together and move in before their celebration, they also BOTH graduated from med school. The two graduated the week before and week of the wedding! They were placed in residency programs very close to each other at their dream jobs! They did not disappoint with how organized they were with planning, while still managing to put their careers on the forefront and have SO much to celebrate during their wedding weekend!
From energetic reception entrances and a romantic first dance to an adorable cake cutting and epic dance moves, Alex and Robert’s entire reception was filled with fun and romance! Their wedding party went all out with the bridesmaids entering with pom poms and bubble guns, and the groomsmen entertaining in firemen attire. Then Alex and Robert entered and paraded energetically throughout the entire space, greeting guests along the way. We loved this moment because the guests were more involved and got to dance along! Things slowed down for their first dance, and as the energy in the room shifted, the focus was solely on their love for each other. Even their cake cutting was such a sweet moment, filled with smiles and laughter. Everyone crowded around to capture and take in the moment. It was truly a privilege to get to witness their love and be a part of their special day!
Alex and Robert were truly the sweetest, most genuine couple, and their love for each other was overwhelming. Witnessing their love overflow throughout the day, and radiate to friends and family was truly heartwarming. We wish the happy couple a lifetime of happiness, and a wonderful and bright future together husband and wife as!
