Amy & Francis’ Enchanted Garden Wedding at New College

Amy and Francis had their wedding at stunning New College of Florida's Historic College Hall. With Sarasota waterfront views and open skies, the stage was set for a wedding to remember! In spite of Florida’s unpredictable weather that brought a bit of rain, the overall day was spectacular and the sunset was breathtaking. The energy and love that Amy and Francis brought to their day was contagious! From guests to vendors, everyone could feel the love in the air and knew that even rain couldn’t dampen the energy coming from this lovely couple!

These newlyweds came to Sarasota from Boston to have a stunning destination wedding with all of their family and friends. This celebration was so special and even more special to Amy as she made sure to include different personalized details to commemorate her father. With experience in hospitality as a chef, Francis took the reins by designing their food menu and specialty cocktails to reflect their personalities and favorite cuisines, which were a huge hit with all of the guests!

We adored coordinating the design process with these two and were obsessed with how the day came together! The floral designs including the chuppah flowers, table centerpieces, bouquets, and moss escort card display were all created by Save the Date Florida. The addition of the stunning glass candelabras from Save the Date Florida, along with the Daphne trees from Posy Exchange, and the dripping lights in the tree and above the dance floor from Palacios Events, really brought the “enchanted garden” concept to life! Even with a little bit of rain, the entire wedding was still able to be held outside which was what Amy and Francis had envisioned! It was truly a pleasure to be a part of this special day!

Amy and Francis chose to weave faith and tradition into their beautiful day, through traditional Jewish wedding elements. This started with their ceremony taking place under a chuppah, and ended on the dancefloor with the Hora, with other elements sprinkled in throughout the celebration. Surrounded by their loved ones with fairy lights cascading in the background, it was truly a beautiful moment to see the joy on their faces as Amy and Francis were lifted into the air. The collective experience was undeniably magical!

Amy and Francis are such a sweet and fun couple who clearly find so much joy in each other. It was heartwarming to see them enter into this new chapter together as husband and wife. Warmest wishes to the newlyweds as they embark on their future together!
